COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear patients, we are monitoring the situation with COVID-19 as it develops. At this time, we will keep the clinic open to patients. Your safety and well being is our highest priority and we have a strict protocol for patient visits in place. It is important that you text us your name and appointment time upon arrival and then wait in your car until we ask you to come in. Please continue to take precautions provided by the CDC. We thank you for your patience as we make adjustments to deliver care to our patients.

ABOUT US

Gainesville After-Hours Clinic is an urgent care and family medicine office located at the corner of NW 13th Street and 10th Avenue, just 10 blocks north of the University of Florida. We feature experienced, UF-trained MDs board-certified in family medicine and a nurse practitioner for your medical needs.

OUR MISSION
We believe quality medical care should not cost a fortune. We also believe good healthcare should extend past 9-5. To these ends, we offer experienced, knowledgeable physicians and personalized care at a convenient price. 

FAMILY PRACTICE
For ongoing health care needs, feel free to stop by as a walk-in or call us for an appointment. We routinely see patients for the following:

--Annual, sports & routine physicals
--Weight-loss assistance
--EKGs
--Drug screenings
--Referrals to specialists
--Medical wellness exams

URGENT CARE
We are also available for some unexpected medical emergencies.
Walk-ins are welcome but calling ahead is encouraged.

ADDICTION MEDICINE
Our doctors are trained in addiction medicine. Please call to see if openings for treatment are available.

INSURANCE INFORMATION
Here is a list of primary insurances we currently accept:
--Medicare
--BCBS (No My Blue; For Gatorcare, Please Call Ahead)
--United Healthcare (No Community or Dual Complete Plan
--Avmed (Raulerson, Cindy and Chad Only) 
--Tricare (Standard but not Prime)

We accept most supplementary insurances (if a primary insurance also exists) such as:
--AARP
--Champ VA
--Any Medicare Supplement Insurance

If we do not accept your insurance, we will be happy to see you and provide you with a copy of your receipt, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Primary care office visits cost $100 without insurance, while Suboxone patients pay $160 for their first appointment and $140 for subsequent appointments. Please bring your photo ID and insurance card to your first appointment.

NEW CHECK-IN PROTOCOL 

Dear patients, in order to maintain a safe environment for you and our staff, please follow the new check-in protocol posted outside our clinic: Please call ahead for your appointments before medications run out. When you arrive to clinic, do not come in. First text your name and appointment time to the number listed on the notice and return to your car until we ask you to come in. We will text you back when we are able to triage you. We appreciate your assistance through this process.    

CORONA VIRUS TESTING 

We are now able to test for the Corona Virus (COVID-19). The cost for testing is $100. Please give our office a call to inquire about scheduling.

WEEKEND HOURS

Please note our new weekend hours:

> When clinic is held Saturday, the office will be closed entirely on Sunday. Phones will not be answered Sunday.

MEET OUR TEAM

Peter Gallogly, M.D.

Dr. Peter Gallogly received his Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA., where he graduated magna cum laude. In 2001, he received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in Family Medicine with the UF Department of Community Health and Family Medicine at Alachua General Hospital.

Board-certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine, Dr. Gallogly has been practicing and residing in Gainesville, FL. since 2004, and is a proud member of the Gainesville community.

Thomas Raulerson, M.D.

Dr. Thomas Raulerson graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. with a double major in Animal Science and Microbiology & Cell Science and a minor in Chemistry. In 2001, he received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Afterward, he completed his residency in Family Medicine with the UF Department of Community Health & Family Medicine at Alachua General Hospital.

Board-certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine, Dr. Raulerson is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2004 Golden Apple Award.

Cindy Stuart-Shea, ARNP

Cindy Stuart-Shea, ARNP received her Bachelor's of Science from the University of Florida in 1982. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida when she received her masters, and then completed her clinical residency at Bellevue Family Care Clinic, Shands at Starke Emergency Department, the Shands Bone Marrow transplant Unit and Alachua General Hospital. The recipient of multiple awards, including the AGH nurse of excellence from the United States Air Force, Stuart has volunteered her professional skills in mission trips to Guatemala and Honduras and has served as president of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society since 1982.


Willie Robinson, RAS

Willie Robinson received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 1993. He has been a counselor since that time working in mental health, addictions, and criminal justice. He received his certification as an addiction specialist in 2007 from the Breining Institute of Addiction Disorders. Mr. Robinson is also a veteran who served in the US Navy.
